One of my favourite Colin & Katie moments from SDCC12
“I have a question for Katie & Colin pertaining to your roles as Morgana and Merlin, and I notice that your banter is really great, it’s funny but also really dramatic and you know with the whole glaring across the room… anyway and that really great scene in A Servant of two Masters. How is that like for you as actors, and are we going to see more of that?”
Colin: We have confrontations it’s.. we could’ve another awww off again. (Katie puts hand up) That’s what’s great about our, Merlin and Morgana’s relationship it’s always charged cause there’s a history there, there’s also an unknown thing between them and that’s she doesn’t know what I GOT.
(Katie raises eyebrow)
Katie: Oh I think she does. (Audience laughs)
(Colin laughs, looks flushed)
Colin: She’s about to find out. (Katie laughs)
Katie: It’s actually funny you mention that scene (Hovel scene, 4x06) cause that’s actually my favourite scene of all last series. If I’m entirely honest when you’re working with Colin, it pains me to say it, but he makes you a better actor.(Colin shy, embarrassed look) When you go in at this level (gestures) and he’s like there, you know you got to push it, so anytime I have a scene with him I know I come out better than I usually am, because he’s ridiculously talented.
Colin: (mumbles) That’s very nice of you.
(Colin and Katie fist bump)
Katie: Can we have an awwwww?
Audience: awwwww
Colin: You guys are awesome.
Katie: I know. I’m sitting here shaking it’s so amazing.
Audience: shout ( we love you too.)
